What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Mechanic Lvl C position at Mountaire Farms and Careers?
Primary Purpose
Focuses on maintaining and repairing vehicles within a fleet. Their primary purpose is to ensure the operational readiness, safety and reliability of the fleet by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs. This shift is from 2PM to 12AM (midnight).
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs basic inspections and preventative maintenance. Moves equipment as needed.
- Performs basic repairs and intermediate maintenance under supervision.
- Shop clean-up and organization.
- Utilizes the Fleet Maintenance software system program.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0 - 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Basic computer competency.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
