What You’ll Do
You’ll be the first friendly face our clients meet. You’ll help keep the clinic flowing, support pet parents through both happy visits and stressful moments, and make sure every interaction reflects our Care First values.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and their pets with genuine warmth.
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing reminders.
- Forward-booking appointments to support preventive care.
- Processing payments, invoices, and insurance claims.
- Keeping client records organized and accurate.
- Supporting our medical team by coordinating client communications.
- Sharing treatment instructions and basic educational info clearly.
- Helping open or close the clinic to keep the day running smoothly.
Who You Are
You enjoy helping people, love animals, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You can multitask, problem-solve, and stay positive even during chaotic moments. Experience in a veterinary or healthcare setting helps, but kindness, reliability, and strong communication skills matter just as much.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service, ideally in a veterinary or healthcare setting
- Flexible availability for morning and evening shifts, including at least two weekends per month
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using office software and scheduling systems
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Caring about animals and the families who cherish them
What We Offer
- Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour to start, depending on experience.
