Position Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who is passionate about client service and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for our clients while ensuring the hospital runs efficiently day to day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients and creating a positive, professional environment
- Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations while maintaining an efficient daily schedule
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding services, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Handle financial transactions including invoicing, payments, and basic account management
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Support opening and closing procedures and general administrative tasks
- Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience required (veterinary or medical experience preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with computers, phones, and scheduling systems
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
Schedule & Availability Requirements
- Hospital hours are Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM and Saturdays 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Full-time employees must have flexible availability within these hours
- Opening and closing shifts are required
- Rotating Saturdays are required
- Schedule will be assigned based on hospital needs to ensure balanced coverage
Compensation
- $17.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience
