Testing Proctor 1
Location: Payson, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
Pay/Salary: $12.36 hourly
Summary
As a Testing Proctor, you play a vital role in upholding the integrity of the testing process. You will oversee the Test Center during examinations, ensuring a fair and secure environment while enforcing time limits and established procedures. Your support helps students succeed by clarifying testing protocols, answering questions, and providing necessary materials, making their testing experience smooth and stress-free.

What You’ll Do:
Responsibilities of the Testing Proctor 1 include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as an information resource for customers and direct them to the appropriate channels as needed.
• Maintain testing facilities, ensuring both physical and electronic workspaces are clean and organized.
• Safeguard test security by preserving the confidentiality of testing materials.
• Protect customer information in compliance with FERPA guidelines.
• Verify customer identification accurately following governing procedures.
• Create a comfortable and suitable testing environment for customers.
• Monitor workstations and systems to prevent cheating and address any violations of testing policies.
• Report any testing-related issues to the appropriate authority.
• Collect fees for services requiring payment.
What We’re Looking For:
• Education Requirements: A high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Professionalism: Strong professional communication skills, whether in person, over the phone, or via email, and the ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Attention to Detail: Sharp problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in daily tasks.
