What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Phlebotomy Substitute Lab Instructor include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise and support students in lab sessions.
- Teach proper techniques, safety protocols, and core concepts of phlebotomy.
- Provide meaningful feedback to students as they build confidence and skill.
- Occasionally substitute for the instructor.
- Attend meetings and maintain necessary certifications.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:
- Education Requirements: A high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in performing diagnostic phlebotomy in a clinical, laboratory, hospital, or similar healthcare setting. Additional experience with plasma/blood donation or IV insertion would be a great asset.
- Certifications: Must be a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). Must be BLS CPR/First Aid certified through the American Heart Association.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.
- Attention to Detail: Sharp problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in daily tasks.
