We are seeking a part time physicians assistant 2 to 3 days per week.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluation by interpreting laboratory results, imaging reports, and diagnostic tests such as ECGs and radiographs.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and DEA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant licensure with current certification from the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- Ability to perform physical examinations, diagnostic test interpretation, and client communication effectively.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and data collection for clinical research or quality improvement projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes; familiarity with healthcare diagnosis coding standards such as ICD-10 is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- GLP1 and Addiction treatment is a plus
Pay: $55,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
