Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Ultrasound Technologist.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
- Coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
- Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
- Licenses/Certificates required:
- BLS Certificate
- One of the following
- ARDMS Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound with RVT.
- ARRT Certificate in Sonography with Vascular Sonography.
- ARDMS or ARRT Certified without specialty in RVT / Vascular Sonography, must be eligible and certify in vascular specialty within 1 year.
