Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Ultrasound Technologist.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
- Coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
- Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies upon experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licenses/Certificates required:
- BLS Certificate
- One of the following:
- Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Sonography.
- ARDMS SPI certification.
- Must be eligible and certify in OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast, or RVT within 1 year of hire.
- RDMS Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Must be eligible to certify in RVT within 1 year of hire.
- Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiography.
- ARRT Certificate in Sonography. 1 year employed sonographer experience preferred.
- Must be eligible to certify in Vascular Sonography within 1 year of hire.
- Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Sonography.
