What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Lesson Instructor - Private and Group Lessons position at Mountain Wave Swimming?
Join Our Swim School Team in SE Idaho!
Are you passionate about water safety and helping kids build confidence in the water? Our swim school is looking for enthusiastic instructors to teach lifesaving swim skills and stroke techniques to infants and children (ages 0-12).
What You’ll Do:
- Teach private 1-on-1 lessons tailored to each child's needs
- Teach group lessons with a co-instructor
- Help kids develop self-rescue swimming and stroke techniques
- Create a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment
- Communicate with parents to track progress and build confidence in the water
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- Previous swim lesson experience is great but not required – we provide in-house training!
- 2 years of experience working with infants and children is preferred
- Lifeguard and CPR certification REQUIRED
