We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our dedicated veterinary team. Duties
- Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage client check-ins to ensure a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door
- Handle veterinary administrative tasks including medical billing, insurance processing, and medical collections with accuracy and professionalism
- Assist with front desk operations by answering phone calls, responding to client inquiries, and providing information about pet care services
- Maintain detailed records using veterinary software, including patient histories, treatment plans, laboratory results, and medication logs. Experience with AVImark veterinary software is preferred
- Manage inventory of pet care supplies, pharmaceuticals in compliance with DEA regulations, and laboratory materials
- Communicate effectively with clients about their pet’s health status, treatment options, and follow-up care while demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Qualifications
- Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal hospitals is highly preferred; kennel experience or animal husbandry background is advantageous
- Proficiency in veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and communication
- Experience handling dogs and other companion animals with confidence and gentle restraint techniques
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to perform animal handling tasks such as animal restraint, surgery assistance, and pet care with precision and compassion .
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in a busy environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction
