Elementary Math Title I Intervention Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students requiring math interventions, ensuring alignment with state standards and district policies.
• Deliver engaging, assessment-driven instruction using innovative learning technology and differentiated lesson planning techniques to support early childhood development and elementary education.
• Utilize student performance data analysis to monitor progress, adjust instructional approaches, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions within multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other educational professionals to design and execute targeted academic interventions that promote mastery of math concepts.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to measure student growth, inform instruction, and document progress for compliance with educational regulations.
• Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management skills, conflict resolution strategies, and behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Engage families through clear communication about student progress, intervention plans, and ways they can support learning at home.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
• Valid teaching license or certification with endorsement in elementary education or special education; experience working with young children highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and instructional design focused on math education.
• Proven experience working with students with disabilities or those requiring academic interventions within an elementary school setting.
• Strong skills in data analysis for student progress evaluation and experience implementing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
• Knowledge of learning technology platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) used for instructional delivery and tracking student achievement.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and community partners; ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.

Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
