Express Service Technician - MTN View Honda

Our Express Technician will be responsible for oil changes, tire rotations, and other minor maintenance tasks. Help us keep our customers safe on the road by providing trustworthy service to all.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct multi-point inspections
• Inspects all cars for extra repairs and notifies service consultant of any additional work
• Service grease fittings, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed air powered grease gun
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles
• Check tire pressure, balance, and rotate tires
• Replace oil and air filters, then drain and refill crankcase with the needed amount of oil.
• Add water/coolant to radiator
• Inspect battery
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers
• Follows company safety protocols to avoid exposure to fumes, filth, and harsh chemicals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, reach for duration of shift
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Time management and basic computer skills
• Personal and professional integrity
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory background check results, and clean driving record
