What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director of Therapeutic Services position at Mountain View Academy?
Mountain View Academy Clinical Director position requires a licensed mental health profession with the ability to engage in independent practice.
The principal duties of the Clinical Director include:
Coordinating and consulting with non-clinical administrators in order to insure the provision of ethical and effective treatment services; and to facilitate appropriate integration of clinical treatment goals and approaches into the day-to-day facility environment which is the over-arching treatment milieu.
Provide direct group supervision of Level 3 master’s level therapists and Level 2 master’s therapists.
Provide individual supervision and consultation to master’s level therapists as needed and/or required.
Review clinical therapy notes to insure quality of services and sign-off as required.
Coordinate communication, or directly communicate, with DCS FSWs, TLs, attorneys, outside clinicians, medical professionals, or other professionals in order to consult regarding individual clients/patients/residents or obtain information necessary to facilitate effective treatment. The flow of information bi-directionally will adhere to ethical, legal, and Mountain View Academy policy requirements.
Provide ongoing training to MVA case managers in order to facilitate their professional growth and expansion of needed skills.
If not elsewhere available within the MVA organization, complete PREA clinical intake interviews at the request of the PREA coordinator given the PREA requirement that such assessments be completed by a licensed clinician.
Review restraints of residents as part of a broader administrative review team.
SALARY: Based on Experience
