- You help us supervise and mentor these clients, overseeing their participation in group activities and encouraging them to complete day-to-day tasks
- Support Staff need to be passionate about making a positive change in our clients' lives and may handle high-stress situations
- Apply Positive Peer Culture and the Developmental Vacation Treatment model
- Being responsible for his/her own development and training and asking for clarification or help, if needed
- Properly performing shift changes at the beginning and end of each shift
- Oversee the clients and implement safety precautions
- Enforce the existing Program's daily schedule and structure as outlined in the Clients Handbook
- Review BestNotes and the shift schedule before the start of the shift
- Ensure that the client's safety and containment are maintained at ALL TIMES
- Follow the protocol in maintaining discipline among clients
- Display exemplary behavior and follow employee guidelines
- Maintain a log of students' behavior and submit the log no later than 24 hours
- Perform other duties delegated by on shift manager
- Attending weekly Cottage meetings to discuss the client's behavior and progress
