Position Summary – X-Ray Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and motivated X-Ray Technologist to join our clinical imaging team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about diagnostic imaging, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a busy orthopedic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-rays as ordered by orthopedic physicians
- Review imaging orders, provider notes, and special instructions for accuracy
- Complete daily preventive maintenance and equipment safety checks (including lead aprons)
- Import/export imaging to PACS system and burn CDs as needed
- Process imaging authorizations in a timely manner
- Manage billing for all X-ray procedures
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Red Flag regulations
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
- RT or ARRT Certification (preferred)
- Flexibility to travel between East Stroudsburg, Brodheadsville and Tobyhanna
- Willingness to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
