What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peer Support Specialist position at Mountain State Recovery Center?
Must be in recovery for a minimum of 2 years. Successful completion of West Virginia Certification Board for Addiction & Prevention Professionals, Peer Recovery (PRSS) certification required. You must have a strong working knowledge of 12 Step programs and recovery resources in the community. Be willing to work with community partners to engage clients who need services into treatment & recovery support services.
REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, and successful completion of the peer support specialist training course. Must have a valid driver’s license
