Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication with Mig and TIG welding of Stainless, Aluminum and Carbon steels. The ability to read blueprints and work with various hand tools and machinery is necessary. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and precision of our products, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Duties
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate arc and flame cutting equipment for precise cutting of materials.
- Employ hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to shape and form metal.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate cranes safely for the movement of heavy materials within the workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Experience with Mig, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and various hand tools required.
- Familiarity with operating cranes and other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy materials.
