Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced environment of our restaurant. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all food items are clean, well-presented, and meet quality standards before serving.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Support waitstaff by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a busy restaurant setting.
