Brief summary of job description: Mountain Projects Head Start/Early Head Start in Jackson County is seeking a Family Service Advocate to work comprehensively in recruiting and enrolling children in the Head Start program. The family service worker will ensure the Head Start program services and community resources are available to enrolled children and their families. The position identifies and assists families in promoting family wellness and encouraging parent engagement within the program.
Must have adequate vehicle, valid driver license and insurance, local travel sometimes required, occasionally conduct home visits of Head Start children, criminal background checks along with random drug testing.
Minimum education: Four-year degree from accredited school in Psychology, Early Education, or a related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
