We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a new Regional Sales Representative to cover Idaho, eastern OR and eastern WA. Responsible for direct field sales to food, beverage and other manufacturing facilities, the position has great potential given the established presence and potential growth in this territory. With our industry experienced team and top machinery manufacturing partners, we have an organization ready for continued success.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support existing accounts
- Follow up on leads and inquiries via direct communication with potential clients
- Sales growth via marketing, networking and cold calls
- Schedule, coordinate and travel throughout territory for field site evaluations and meetings
- Gather and compile detailed project specifications
- Technical presentations and demonstrations to sell industrial equipment to food & beverage manufacturers
- Manage opportunities in CRM
- Sales negotiations
- Ability to communicate and problem solve
Essential Qualifications
- Background in technical sales of capital equipment, preferably packaging, inspection and/or food processing machinery
- Professional individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
- Preferred education in a technical or business related field
- Computer skills, CAD software a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory and also national/international travel 3-5 times per year
