Mountain Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a leading long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Human Resources to lead our HR team and ensure a positive workplace culture.
Job Summary:
The Director of Human Resources will oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and performance management. This position reports directly to the Administrator and plays a key role in shaping the organization's HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the facility’s goals and objectives.
- Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention programs.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Administer benefits, payroll, and performance management systems.
- Lead HR initiatives to promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
- Provide guidance and support to management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
