What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance position at Mountain Lake Camping Resort?
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to help maintain our campground and keep it clean, safe, and guest-ready.
Pay: $17/hour
Job Type: Part-time, seasonal
Shift Options:
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible, part-time hours throughout the week)
- Starts early June and runs through Labor Day
- Evening Shift: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Friday & Saturday only)
- Starts mid-June and runs through Labor Day
Responsibilities include:
- Trash pickup and general campground cleanup
- Firewood delivery to guests
- Light cleaning of one men’s restroom
- (Day shift only) Use of weed trimmers and leaf blowers
Requirements:
- Reliable and able to show up for scheduled shifts
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to lift, bend, and stay active throughout your shift
- Prior experience with weed trimmers and leaf blowers (day shift)
Additional Info:
- This is a physically active position—good overall health is important
- Day shift is flexible but requires consistent availability
- 2 weeks’ notice required for time off
- Frequent or extended time off may not be accommodated during the season
- We are a drug-free workplace and may perform random drug testing
