Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services, performs financial record keeping duties associated with the processing and completing of accounting transactions for various accounts. Assumes responsibility for one or more elements within a complete accounting system such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, benefits, fund accounts, and limited-scope financial statements.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma plus college-level curriculum in bookkeeping or business practices and 2 years' experience in a production oriented record keeping, cashiering, or general clerical capacity. Additional experience may substitute for higher education.
The district is located along Interstate 8, in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of the city of San Diego. BENEFITS: Health, dental, and vision provided for employee and dependents, subject to district cap; group life insurance provided for employee only. ANY OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT IS SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK ($71.00 payable by applicant), A PRE-PLACEMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION, INCLUDING DRUG SCREENING (at District expense), AND A NEGATIVE TUBERCULOSIS TEST.
