What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Coordinator position at Mountain Comprehesive Care Center, Inc.?
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operation of assigned outpatient clinic.
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to outpatient behavioral health staff at assigned clinic.
Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and evaluations as required by Agency policy.
Coordinate staff meetings.
Coordinate annual Stakeholder’s meetings for assigned county.
Supervise documentation of all behavioral health staff and ensure that all records adhere to regulatory standards.
Provide direct services as needed.
Attend monthly Clinic Coordinator’s meetings.
Collaborate with appropriate team members and/or supervisors as needed.
Supervise direct time of behavioral health staff and complete quarterly incentive evaluations as indicated.
Be knowledgeable of, ensure and promote adherence to all Agency policies and procedures.
Adhere to all standards for quality of care for clients. This includes, but is not limited to treating clients with respect, maximizing continuity of care, seeking supervision as necessary, arranging for coverage for periods of absence, and maintain all professional ethics.
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in behavioral sciences with license in their respective field and who are in good standing with their licensing board. Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to assess and evaluate the needs of people with diverse diagnosis. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have the ability to advocate for service improvements within and outside the agency. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment of people with behavioral health concerns is required.
