Front Office Support Staff -Winchester

Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring a Receptionist/Support Staff to serve in an outpatient setting.

PURPOSE: Assists in necessary clerical and billing procedures.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform clerical support duties.

· Input client information in computer and complete agency forms for intake packet, including application, consents, authorizations, etc. Complete agency forms needed to provide services.

· Setup new medical record charts for clients as needed.

· Collect any fees to be paid at time of visit.

· Maintain a medical records filing system. Make records available to authorized staff members as needed.

· Answer telephones and schedule appointments.

· Answer inquiries for health information in client’s record in accordance with agency policy.

· Prepare and complete necessary or requested correspondence.

· File agency forms and other correspondence in client’s charts in timely and accurate manner.

· Collect and distribute mail daily.

· Attend staff meeting and trainings as directed by Supervisor.

· Maintain confidentiality of all private client and agency information.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or GED supplemented by one year of experience. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator’s license.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to type and have general knowledge of office procedures and computer office programs. Ability to maintain professional attitude in working with co-workers and public. Considerable knowledge of organization methods, rules, and office equipment. Ability to plan and organize. Sound judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting, standing, bending and walking. Must be able to lift and carry light loads, (up to 15 pounds).
