QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a currently valid LNHA license in the State of Maryland
Strong management and operation skill
Strong math/budgetary skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Nursing Home Administrator is to direct the day-to-day functions of the entire facility in accordance with current regulations and standards
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs and activities
Delegate administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to other staff personnel as deemed necessary to perform their assigned duties
Consult with department directors concerning the operation of their departments to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas and/or improvement of services
Assist department directors in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of in-service training classes, on-the-job training and orientation programs to assure that current material and programs are continuously provided
Responsible for facility expense management & compliance with annual budget and compliance with resident funds
Ensure that the facility remains survey ready and compliant with company policy and governmental regulations, prepare and present a plan of correction to state or federal agencies post surveys
