What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Maint Tech I position at MOUNTAIN CAPITAL PARTNERS?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect and repair all buildings and structures in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Receive, prioritize, diagnose, plan and perform repairs. Assign and track progress of these repairs and the performance of the repairs made.
- Provide routine and repair facility maintenance and grounds maintenance to ensure safe, effective and proper performance.
- Develop, implement and conduct routine preventative maintenance schedules and identify potential issues.
- Inspect all structures and equipment to assess needed repairs, damages or maintenance needs to ensure safety and/or coordinate repairs.
- Respond promptly to any and all emergency maintenance issues to safely and properly correct the issue in a timely, cost-effective manner.
- Oversee, and perform all facets of groundskeeping within the Thunderbird Lodge and Spider Mountain grounds.
- Maintain clean, safe and presentable lodging, recreation and common areas for guests.
Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must possess knowledge and skills of facility maintenance skills including, but not limited to: carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, mechanical systems, etc.
- Must possess knowledge skills, repair/maintenance and safe usage of power tools, equipment, grounds equipment, etc.
- Must possess problem-solving skills and hold the ability to diagnose issues, identify solutions and perform tasks to rectify the issues.
- Must possess organizational skills in order to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, manage scheduling, etc.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors in potentially inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull objects up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, squat or lay in order to perform job responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must have previous maintenance experience as listed above.
