Summary:
A Line Cook cooks, plates dishes, and completes basic food-prepping tasks for the Café. Their main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station, cleaning up prep areas, and making sure the kitchen is stocked.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks

Plating prepared foods based managements guidelines

Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Wiping down café tables and taking out trash
Position Type and Expected Work Hours:

Seasonal Full-time or Part-Time, Hourly

Employees are required to be available to work workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:

Superior dexterity skills to operate cutting tools quickly and safely

At least 1 year of cooking experience is preferred, but not mandatory

Strong organization and active listening skills

Familiarity with safe and sanitary food handling and preparation

Certified in proper food handling

Good math skills with a clear understanding of cooking measurements

- Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to work various shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
