Sandia Peak Ski Area is seeking energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Rentals Department as Rental Technicians for the upcoming winter season! If you love the mountain lifestyle, enjoy helping people, and have a passion for skiing or snowboarding, this is your opportunity to be part of a fun and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests in selecting and fitting rental equipment (skis, snowboards, boots, helmets)
- Perform routine equipment adjustments and safety checks according to industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of rental shop
- Assist with rental equipment returns and inventory
- Work closely with team members to ensure efficient guest flow
- Uphold safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous rental shop or ski industry experience is a plus, but not required (we provide training!)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- At least 18 years old
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
- Passion for skiing, snowboarding, or mountain life encouraged!
