Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester.
Purpose: To aid in the day-to-day operation of the MSJ Sports Information Office, and Athletics department
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mangement of MSJsports.com
- Production of gameday notes and programs
- Management of MSJ Athletics official social media accounts (twitter, Instagram, facebook, youtube)
- Livestream setup and takedown for every MSJ home athletics contest
- Communicate with stakeholders inside MSJ Athletics department and the sports information offices of our opponents.
- Aid in gameday operations
- Compile live statistics during games
- Manage MSJ record books
- Write press releases/game recaps for MSJsports.com and social media channels
- Other duties as assigned
- Currently enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University
- Sophomore status or later
- Co-op eligible (determined by Career and Experiential Learning Center)
- Ability to work independently, and meet deadlines
- Well organized, punctual and reliable
- Knowledge of different sports is a plus
- High-level communication skills both written and verbal
