Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester
Purpose: The student employee will be responsible for the washing and drying of practice uniforms every day after practice and games, as well as the hanging of the dried clothes on the assigned laundry hangers. Laundry loops will be provided to the team to ensure that individuals clothes stay together.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sorts soiled laundry
- load & unload machines
- sort & fold/ hang clean laundry
- stores and secures supplies and equipment
- cleans laundry area
- other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University
- Work-study eligibility required
- Ability to work on own initiative, independently, and to deadlines
- Well organized, punctual, and reliable
- The ability to communicate sensitively and tactfully, both orally and in writing, with individuals at all levels within the University
