Position Summary
The Rental Desk Attendant is responsible for delivering efficient, friendly, and accurate customer service to guests renting ski and snowboard equipment. This position serves as the first point of contact in the rental process, handling transactions, explaining procedures, and ensuring guests are properly prepared before moving to rental technician.
Key Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner

Process rental transactions properly and accurately using POS and rental software systems while maintaining accurate rental records

Review or collect necessary guest information to provide to technician including guest age, weight, height and ability level

Explain rental packages, pricing, and policies clearly

Answer guest questions regarding equipment, sizing process, and return procedures

Promote add-on items such as helmets, upgrades, or accessories

Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate to management when necessary

Assist guests with helmets confirming proper fit and comfort for guests

Organize helmets between uses in accordance with internal operating procedures

Coordinate guest flow between rental desk and technicians
-
Keep desk area clean, organized, and stocked with appropriate supplies

Complete required training as assigned by mountain leadership

Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period

Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership
Qualifications

Basic to intermediate computer skills required, with the ability to learn and navigate multiple software applications efficiently

Previous retail, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive physical tasks

Ability to work in an indoor location subject to temperature fluctuations, drafts, and intermittent exposure to outdoor weather conditions due to frequent operation of exterior doors

Ability to work in busy, sometimes noisy environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $17.50/hour
