What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snowsports - Ski Instructor position at Mount Southington Ski Area?
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Ski Instructors to teach skiing to guests of all ages and abilities in a safe, fun, and professional environment. Responsibilities include:
- Leading group and private lessons
- Ensuring guest safety
- Providing excellent customer service
- Promoting skill development and confidence on the snow
- Instructors may also be asked to assist with other duties outside of regular teaching responsibilities, such as guest assistance, on-hill support, or operational tasks as needed.
Must be 16 years of age or older and an advanced skier.
Qualifications:- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Prior teaching experience is not required; we will train you
- Advanced skiing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- AASI certification a plus, but not required
