Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The Program Coordinator (PC) supports the Administrative Director of Medical Education (ADME) with the administration of all residency coordinators, medical students, GME and CME activity throughout the organization with respect to adherence to regulatory requirements. The PC assists with personnel and budget planning, as well as collecting, organizing and developing reports to external agencies. The PC reports to the Administrative Director of Medical Education and is a liaison to the administrative committees of the medical schools (undergraduate medical education), ISMMS (residency / fellowship education), and MSSNY / ACCME (continuous medical education CME).
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent required with a minimum of five years administrative/coordinator experience in a residency or medical education program.
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of three years administrative/coordinator experience in a residency or medical education program.
