Deliver engaging, hands‑on Social Studies instruction
Create a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom environment
Build strong, trusting relationships with students
Support and implement IEP goals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Use proactive classroom management and in-the-moment problem solving
Track progress, provide feedback, and celebrate student growth
Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, clinicians, and school leadership
Contribute to a team culture that supports, problem‑solves and grows together

Maintain student confidentiality and appropriate communication
Represent Mount Prospect Academy professionally with families and community partners
Follow all organizational policies and procedures
Complete Other Duties As Assigned Qualifications/Requirements
Must be 21 years of age
Bachelor's Degree Required
NH DOE Teacher Certification or certifiable
