Mount Pleasant Beef Packing is hiring a CDL-A driver to run our truck for the plant and the ranch.
THE WORK
Drive our Peterbilt sleeper with five trailers: cattle, flatbed, lowboy, live bottom, and a tanker (vinegar and molasses).
Routes vary from trip to trip. A typical run might go Texas to Alabama to Florida and back, about a week out.
Loads change often, so the schedule flexes. We need someone who can roll with it.
Work available between runs: hauling & ranch equipment upkeep checks, and turning in maintenance requests so things get handled.
PAY
Starting at $0.50 per mile.
Sleeper truck for rest while on the road. Sleeping accommodation at the Ranch stops
WHAT WE NEED
Valid Class A CDL.
Comfortable hauling livestock and pulling different trailer types.
Reliable, and willing to pitch in around the ranch between loads.
Based in Mount Pleasant, TX.
