We Shouldn't Have to Tell You What's Dropping Next Week.
You probably already know.
You follow release calendars. You watch breaks. You know which rookies and prospects collectors are chasing. You check comps when a player gets hot. You go to card shows and probably have a few cards you're always hunting for yourself.
When someone pulls a Downtown, Kaboom!, Color Blast, Gold Vinyl, Superfractor, RPA, SSP, case hit, or 1-of-1, you don't need someone off camera explaining why it matters.
You already live the hobby.
Mount Olympus Rips is looking for a Sports Card Breaker & Hobby Expert to become one of the personalities behind our live Whatnot shows.
We're not looking for someone who simply likes sports.
We're looking for a collector who can command a live room.
Your Hobby Knowledge Is Part of the Job
Anyone can learn how to open a hobby box.
We're looking for someone who knows what they're opening.
You should be comfortable talking about Topps, Bowman, Panini, Upper Deck, Fanatics, Prizm, Select, Optic, National Treasures, Flawless, Immaculate, Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome and other major products collectors are buying and breaking.
You understand autos, RPAs, refractors, numbered parallels, variations, SSPs, case hits, 1st Bowmans, Young Guns, Downtowns, Kabooms, Color Blasts, Gold Vinyls, Superfractors, and 1-of-1s.
You understand grading and can talk intelligently about PSA, SGC, CGC, and BGS.
You know how collectors use comps, recent sales, population reports, checklists, and release information to understand a card.
Most importantly, you keep learning because you actually love the hobby.
You're Not Just the Breaker. You're the Show.
Hobby knowledge gives you credibility.
Personality makes people stay.
You'll host live sports card breaks on Whatnot, talk sports, interact with collectors, react to monster pulls, recognize returning buyers, explain products, tell stories, keep auctions moving, and maintain the energy of the room.
We need someone who can:
- Host high-energy live sports card breaks on Whatnot
- Run PYTs, team breaks, case breaks, hobby boxes, repacks, and personals
- Speak confidently about products, players, rookies, prospects, inserts, parallels, and chase cards
- Stay current on new products, upcoming releases, and checklists
- Know which players and cards are gaining attention in the hobby
- Keep conversation flowing without awkward dead air
- Recognize regular customers and remember what they collect
- Turn a monster pull into a moment people remember
- Educate newer collectors while still entertaining experienced hobbyists
- Bring authentic energy and excitement to the stream
- Build a following of collectors who specifically come back to watch you
This Is Probably You If...
You go to card shows even when you're not working.
You have a personal collection.
You regularly check comps.
You follow breakers, collectors, products, players, prospects, and hobby news.
You know what's releasing soon and already have opinions about it.
You've bought, sold, traded, ripped, graded, or consigned cards yourself.
And when your friends want to know whether a card is actually a monster hit, you're the person they ask.
Breaking or livestreaming experience is a major plus, but we're also interested in serious hobbyists with backgrounds in sales, broadcasting, podcasting, content creation, live entertainment, auctions, sports media, or other roles where personality matters.
You Focus on the Cards. We Handle the Backend.
Running your own breaking operation means buying inventory, managing fulfillment, sorting, shipping, customer service, and carrying the financial risk of the product.
You don't have to do that here.
Our team handles the operation behind the stream.
You walk into the studio, sit down in front of incredible product, go live, and focus on what you're best at:
Knowing the hobby and putting on a show.
Think You Know the Hobby?
Tell us what you personally collect.
Tell us the products you'd be excited to rip tonight.
Tell us what upcoming release you're watching, which rookies or prospects you're buying, the last card show you attended, or the biggest card you've ever pulled.
If Downtown, Kaboom!, Color Blast, Gold Vinyl, Superfractor, RPA, SSP, 1st Bowman, Young Guns, PSA 10, pop report, PYT, and comp are already part of your vocabulary, we want to hear from you.
But we'd rather see it.
Grab a pack. Turn on your camera. Rip it. Show us what you've got.
Email your resume or video submission directly to Tom Lecy at tom@ontimetalent.com.
You already know the hobby. Now show us you can run the room.
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
