Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems following schematics and design specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, ensuring all components operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic software.
- Perform refrigeration repairs involving refrigeration systems and refrigerant handling in compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose system malfunctions related to plumbing, electrical wiring, or mechanical failures; execute repairs or recommend upgrades as needed.
Requirements
- Background in HVAC installation and service technician roles.
- Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems, and plumbing fundamentals.
- Field service experience with a focus on troubleshooting complex HVAC issues.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints accurately; experience with HVAC/R system diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters.
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to industry standards for refrigerant handling, electrical safety, and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients; proactive problem-solving attitude.
Pay will be determined on experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
