Description
OUR FUTURE: PREPARE. LEARN. LEAD.
We are currently seeking to hire a highly dedicated custodial/maintenance substitute. This position will work an average of 10-15 hours weekly, mostly evenings, in the various school buildings in the district. We strive to hire individuals who are determined to see all students succeed, cognizant of their mindset, champions of equity, and are results-oriented. Applicants must be committed to continuous improvement and skilled at fostering mutually respectful relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and community members. Qualifications
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Flexibility
- Record of compliance with safety procedures at all times
- Must be able to operate cleaning equipment
- Basic reading and writing abilities.
- Ability to allocate and prioritize time.
- Capability to lift and maneuver objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to properly handle cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors under temperature variations.
- Aptitude to follow safety standards as set forth by the district.
- Ability to make routine decisions regarding daily schedule.
- The position will involve standing and walking for up to 8 hours; bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
