Position Objective
In collaboration with the Family Ministries Director, the Director of Women’s Reflective Retreats gives oversight and leadership to MHA women’s reflective retreats in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.
General Qualifications
A mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in their faith. Fully in accord with Mount Hermon Association, Inc.’s (“MHA”) mission, vision, values and statement of beliefs. Committed to living these out personally and instilling them in the organization. Of strong moral character and integrity.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Serve as the lead programmer for at least two annual women’s reflective retreats.
- Work closely with Family Ministries Director to develop theme for the year’s reflective retreats.
- At each reflective retreat, you will execute the theme, write curriculum, and secure all faculty needed for each event in order that the vision and mission of each retreat will be accomplished.
- Coordinate with the Family Ministries Coordinator to arrange retreat logistics.
- Collaborate with MHA’s Marketing team for all marketing and printing needs for each retreat.
- Collaborate with other MHA departments to create the best experience for our guest and serve our vision and mission.
- Promote the women’s reflective retreats to churches and leaders through various means including phone calls, meetings, and other avenues to continue to grow the ministry of MHA.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education
- Minimum College degree
Work Experience
- Past ministry leadership is required.
- Show strong writing skills.
- History of collaboration across multiple departments.
- Conference and event planning is desired.
- History of working with or in a local church is desired.
- Trained in spiritual direction desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to lead others
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter with an ability to see things through to completion.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a professional manner.
Physical Demands
- The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
- Position requires walking, and climbing up/down stairs and ladders. Additional requirements include sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, pushing and pulling, hearing, and grasping.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. is required.
Additional Requirements/Skills
- Ability to travel throughout the year.

- Satisfactory completion of background investigation as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
