Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Manchester, NH is looking for a full time RN Unit Manager to join our team. Unit Manager – Full Time, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
We’re looking for an experienced Unit Manager to join our team! This is a full-time, 40-hour position on 1st shift, with a supportive schedule that includes:
- Nursing on-call rotation
- MOD (Manager on Duty) - Weekend coverage

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Day-to-day coordinator and 24-hour over-sight of the unit.
- Monitor resident care by licensed nurses & LNA’s.
- Ensure resident care and documentation is in compliance with HIPPA, State and Federal regulations for healthcare.
- Ensure physician orders are being followed, monitor medication & treatment schedules, and MDS documentation is accurate.
- Work collaborative with other departments, assists ADON, working most closely and under the direction of the Director of Nurses.
- Assess, plan, implement and monitor resident care to ensure that care needs are being met
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident-related care information to ensure HIPAA compliance
- Provide overall supervision of Licensed Nurses, LNAs and LMNAs and the care provided to residents on the assigned unit.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Long-term care experience preferred
- RN with management experience.
- Must possess and maintain a current Nursing license and be in good standing with the State of New Hampshire Nursing Board.
