About the Role:
As a RN Evening Shift Supervisor, you will oversee the nursing care delivery on the evening shift, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. You will supervise and mentor a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the evening shift, including staffing, medication administration, and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
Manage the day-to-day operations of the evening shift, including staffing, medication administration, and patient safety
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
Collaborate with other departments, including therapy and dietary services, to ensure a comprehensive care plan
Participate in on-call duties as required
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and staffing
Requirements:
2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Nursing Home Facility
Current RN license in the state of Maryland
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
