Operations Analyst 2 (ONSITE)
Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for an Operations Analyst for their Vancouver, Washington location. This Operations Analyst II role provides analytical support to operational services teams and collaborates closely with cross-functional analysts and technical subject matter experts. The position supports strategic asset initiatives within control center environments by applying data analysis, modeling techniques, and optimization methods to inform decision-making, policy development, and process improvements. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, evaluating workflows, and developing process documentation and decision-support materials to enhance operational effectiveness. This role operates within a 24/7, high-reliability environment supporting critical operations. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
This position is a one-year renewable contract that includes employee benefits!
Pay Rate: $41.00 - $44.50/hr.

Key Responsibilities for Operations Analyst:
- Build understanding of organizational systems and teams to align with federal compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, NERC, NIST).
- Support compliance and asset strategy initiatives through project coordination, milestone tracking, stakeholder follow-up, meeting facilitation, and status reporting.
- Perform data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development using tools like Excel, Access, and SharePoint.
- Conduct access reviews and manage system/facility access, ensuring proper authorization, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Monitor compliance processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support audits, incident reviews, and regulatory changes by gathering documentation, validating evidence, and assisting with responses.
- Maintain and improve documentation, data quality, reporting standards, and records management practices.
- Assist in developing policies, procedures, training materials, and data management solutions, including automation and system integration.
- Analyze business processes to improve data governance, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
- Track and report performance metrics, support change management initiatives, and present insights to leadership.
Requirements for Operations Analyst:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5 years (Bachelor’s), 7 years (Associate’s), or 9 years equivalent experience without a degree.
- Experience must include progressive technical work in business and/or operations analysis.
- 3 years of experience in:
- Technical writing and translating SME input into clear, actionable documentation
- Developing and delivering executive-level presentations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
