Senior Program Manager (Healthcare Integration)
Motus Recruiting & Staffing is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire Senior Program Managers for a high-visibility Integration Program supporting enterprise growth and affiliation initiatives. In this role, you’ll lead complex, cross-functional programs that integrate people, processes, and technology across a growing healthcare ecosystem. While not traditional M&A, this work requires similar rigor aligning stakeholders, integrating operations, and driving seamless execution across business units.
You will own program delivery end-to-end, ensuring initiatives are on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic goals. We’re seeking experienced program leaders with a strong healthcare background and the ability to operate at scale in a matrixed environment.
- Contract: 12 Months
- Pay: $85–$93/hr. (DOE)
- Benefits Eligible
- Location: Remote (OR, WA, ID, UT)
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours (with occasional off-hours as needed)
- Periodic travel (potentially monthly, as required)
- Reliable internet required: Cable, DSL, or Fiber (no satellite/mobile hotspots)
Responsibilities of the Senior Program Manager
- Lead end-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment
- Drive program outcomes by defining scope, milestones, KPIs, and success metrics
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, managing interdependencies, risks, and resource allocation
- Partner with Integration Management Office (IMO), business leaders, and technology teams to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
- Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Guide project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and consistency across deliverables
- Proactively identify risks and implement contingency plans in a complex, matrixed environment
Qualifications of the Senior Program Manager
- 10 years of progressive program management experience, including leadership of large, complex initiatives (e.g., $20M programs, 75 team members)
- Proven experience in healthcare program management
- Demonstrated success working across matrixed organizations and multiple business units
- Expertise in program delivery methodologies: Waterfall (PMBOK), Agile (Scrum), and hybrid models
- Strong tools experience: Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred Experience Areas (one or more):Mergers & Acquisitions or organizational integrations
- Finance, Pharmacy, Provider Operations
- Healthcare Sales/Marketing, Quality, Care Management
- Claims, Legal, or Back Office operations
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-RMP, SAFe, or similar
