Production Team Lead - Fiber/Molding Flex Department

Reports to:              Molding Supervisor

Location:                 Battle Creek, MI

$20.16/hour based on experience $2 shift premium

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership to all teams and follow / enforce safety guidelines
• Provide production associates with needed training and orientation to the department and job
• Inspect parts for quality per standard and enforce quality guidelines
• Work effectively with team members to trouble shoot quality and/or production issues
• Change machines over, perform needed preventative maintenance and keep abreast of how to run new parts and operate new machine innovation
• Know different types of material in department and to make sure everyone follows Kanban system
• Complete department paperwork and required training programs as well as keeping areas organized with 5S principles

REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to perform work responsibilities safety and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations
• High School Diploma or GED is required and at least 2 years manufacturing experience
• Attention to detail and ability to manage projects in a timely manner
