Spray Painter, Industrial

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of industrial components and equipment, ensuring durability, and quality. We will consider training someone with manufacturing background.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
• Operate airless paint spraying equipment and other spray painting tools to apply coatings evenly across various metal and composite surfaces.
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings accurately using basic math skills to meet specific color and texture requirements.
• Conduct inspections of finished work using precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and uniformity.
• Utilize fabrication skills for minor repairs or modifications on parts before painting.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure safety and quality compliance at all times.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to industrial painting, welding fumes, air quality control, and equipment operation.

Skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (no public Trans).
• Must be able to read, write and follow directions using work orders/ routers and customer drawings.
• Prefer experience in a shop/factory environment. Industry specific training will be provided on the job for the right person.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
