Motorola Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Summer Intern to join our Outbound Sales team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic sales environment, supporting our efforts to connect with potential customers and understand their needs.
Job Responsibilities
As a 2026 Summer Intern - Outbound Sales Representative, you will:
- Assist the Outbound Sales team with outbound campaigns
- Learn and apply sales techniques to qualify leads and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Document customer interactions and update CRM records accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with senior sales representatives to understand sales processes and strategies.
- Support the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Conduct basic research on customer needs and industry trends to inform sales approaches.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Outbound Sales Manager.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn about sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior customer service or sales experience (e.g., retail, hospitality) is a plus, but not required.
- Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date on or after December 2026
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
