What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Motley Rice?
SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a New York City-based Litigation Associate Attorney with (4) to (6) years complex litigation experience. At a minimum, candidates should have completed academic coursework in antitrust and/or intellectual property; direct, recent experience in these fields is highly preferred. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-Accredited School of Law required
- Active license in good standing in at least one State
- Licensure in the State of New York highly preferred
- 4-6 years of complex litigation experience; Antitrust or intellectual property experience REQUIRED
- Candidates should also possess strong legal writing skills and will be expected to manage all aspects of complex litigation dockets with assistance from other team members.
WORKING HOURS:
Work may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the duties of the position. Some domestic and/or international travel may be required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a normal heated or air-conditioned office environment in the Firm’s midtown Manhattan office on a regular basis. This is not an opportunity for remote work.
Salary range: $150,000-$175,000 annually depending on experience, skills and qualifications. Potential for a year-end discretionary bonus based on performance.
