What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Packaging Engineer position at Motive Workforce?
Looking to add a Senior Packaging Engineer to lead packaging development across new and existing products.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own packaging specs, materials, and equipment considerations from concept through commercialization
- Lead trials, testing, and validation to ensure performance, safety, shelf life, and quality
- Drive cost optimization and sustainability initiatives
- Partner with suppliers, co-packers, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions
- Support scale-up and smooth production launches
What you bring:
- BS in Packaging Engineering, Food Science, or related field
- 6–10 years of packaging experience in food manufacturing (required)
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, testing, equipment, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working directly with packaging suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Korean language skills a plus
