ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position involves managing our civil and structural engineering teams, drafters, and administrative staff to complete the design of multiple civil / structural / telecommunications / solar / EV projects within a professional environment. Essential functions of this position include providing technical guidance to staff to ensure accuracy and timely completion of projects, including the review and approval of project drawings, models and reports, and other documents in compliance with building codes and Company and client standards. This will also include performance of project site visits as needed, and interactions with clients and construction contractors through project completion. The Engineering Manager will also provide mentoring of staff, establishing and monitoring project schedules and budgets, and all other duties as assigned. Regular travel is required for this project to manage workload within our Phoenix, AZ and Irvine, CA Offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Professional Engineering license, with the ability to obtain CA PE license and other state PE licenses as needed; BS Degree in Civil Engineering is required;
- 2 years of demonstrated leadership and project management experience;
- Demonstrated management and technical experience on civil and structural engineering projects; wireless telecommunications experience is a plus;
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of tnxTower, RISA, and other structural software;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues;
- Must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle; travel will be required for this position.
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
